What is the difference between two box cold and hot shock test chamber and three box cold and hot shock test chamber?
The cold and hot shock test chamber is used to test the degree that structural materials or composite materials can endure under the continuous environment of extremely high temperature and extremely low temperature in an instant, and to test the chemical changes or physical damage caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction of materials and products in a short time. The cold and hot shock testing machine is widely used for quality testing in metal, plastic, rubber, cable and wire industries, and can be used as a basis or reference for product improvement. The cold and heat shock testing machine has two box type and three box type cold and heat shock testing machine respectively.
Overview of two box cold and hot shock test chamber
As the name suggests, the two box type temperature impact test chamber has only two working rooms, one is in the high-temperature area and the other is in the low-temperature area. During impact work, only the test pieces need to be moved to the relative working room through the basket. The energy loss is relatively small. Compared with the three box type, the configuration is small and the failure rate is correspondingly low
Overview of three box cold and hot shock test chamber
The three box type temperature impact test chamber has three working rooms, which are mainly used for the test that the test object cannot be moved, or for the on load test (power on or add a measuring sensor, etc.). The test sample is placed in the working area, and the temperature of the precooling chamber or preheating chamber is brought into the working room by changing the air duct, so as to realize the rapid impact change of the temperature; As an additional working room area is added to the two box impact test chamber, the pre cooling heat is required to be higher during temperature rise and fall, the power and energy storage device are also equipped with large values, and the cost is correspondingly increased.
Four differences between two box and three box cold and thermal shock test chambers
1. Curves of two temperature impact test chambers:
1.1. Two box cold and thermal shock test chamber: there is no normal temperature residence stage, only high temperature and low temperature residence, and there is obvious overshoot at the initial stage of high and low temperature residence stage.
1.2. Three box cold and thermal shock test chamber: it has normal temperature residence stage. Due to different control principles, high and low temperature and normal temperature residence stages are similar to sinusoidal curves.
2. Functions of two temperature impact test chambers:
2.1. Two box cold and thermal shock test chamber: two boxes, high-temperature box and low-temperature box, with hanging basket in the middle. During the test, the sample is placed in the basket. During the high-temperature test, the basket is referred to the high-temperature box. Otherwise, the low-temperature test is performed. Fast warming speed; Compact structure, generally small volume; The conversion time is short, and the product needs to be moved during the test; It can be used as a thermal shock box, a separate high-temperature box or a separate low-temperature box.
2.2. Three box cold and thermal shock test chamber: three boxes, high-temperature box, box for placing samples and low-temperature box. When testing high temperature, the high-temperature box door is opened and the low-temperature box door is closed. When testing the low temperature, the high temperature box door is closed and the low temperature box door is opened; At room temperature, it is convenient to take and place samples; The product does not move, so as to reduce the impact of product movement on the product. Some sensitive electrical signal monitoring lines can be connected; The conversion time is quite long.
3. Characteristics of two temperature impact test chambers:
The high and low temperature conversion time of two cases is faster, which can better test the adaptability of the product to withstand the instantaneous change of ambient temperature compared with three cases.
4. Two structures of temperature impact test chamber:
4.1. Overall structure of two box type temperature impact test chamber: the test chamber is composed of preheating chamber, precooling chamber, refrigeration system, heating system, air duct system and electrical control system. The precooling chamber is located at the rear upper part of the test chamber, the preheating chamber is located at the front lower part of the test chamber, the refrigerator is located at the rear lower part of the test chamber, and the electrical control cabinet is located at the right side of the test chamber.
4.2. Overall structure of three box type temperature impact test chamber: the sample articles are completely static. The test chamber is composed of preheating chamber, precooling chamber, working chamber, refrigeration system, heating system, air duct system and electrical control system. The working chamber is located in the middle of the test chamber, the high temperature chamber is located in the lower part of the test chamber, the low temperature chamber is located in the upper part of the test chamber, the refrigerator system is located in the lower part of the rear of the test chamber, and the electrical control cabinet is located in the upper part of the right side of the test chamber.
